Erik Schröder was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1989. He became introduced to music very early and so music has always played a big role in his life. When he was about 8 years old he began to play the trumpet but he grew tired of it after a couple of years. Singing was more of his interest.

In 2002 his family moved to a little town called Valdemarsvik, Östergötland where he got introduced to new people and new music. He even began to play the trumpet again in 2003, though stopped in 2004. In the last year of Junior High he started to play around with the music software Fruity Loops Studio, but he soon discovered that creating music was not his purpose in life.

In 2005 he chose to study IT at John Bauergymnasiet (High School) in Norrköping, Östergötland. His future plan was to someday be working for a game developer as a programmer. His choice of study changed his life. Early in 2006 he gave Fruity Loops Studio another shot. About a week later he had composed his first tune - consisting of a grand total of 4 notes. He continued to experiment with music and the tunes became more and more advanced.

Erik had now become pretty talented - for someone this new to the business - and in February, 2007 he came in contact with a couple of people who were creating a freeware game. He signed up as the lead composer and composed his very first (almost*) full game soundtrack for the game Snowie the Snowman 3. In December the same crew created a Christmas special spin-off of Snowie's adventure: Snowie's X-Mas Carol, where he composed all new music featured.

Right now he's involved with a few hobby projects but nothing major.

* Snowie the Snowman 3 was scored by 3 people; Erik Schröder, Alfred Löfving and Tobias Bengtsson.
